What are some reasons why tobacco should not be banned?

Trust me I am not a smoker and I absolutely despise of the idea but if we were to take out smoking people would just smuggle them into the US anyway. Plus smoking is sort of a life style in the US. People in the wars did it because there was nothing else to do. Also If we banned smoking we would be shutting down a lot of businesses which would mean lots of families loosing there main money source. Many people would go crazy and it would just be a disaster. It is a big question that will probably be answered eventully.
