Solar energy is connected to chemistry in three ways:
1. Conventional solar cells are created from silicon. Chemistry is used to purify and cut the silicon. Also, chemistry allowed us to find the semiconducting ability of silicon in the first place.
2. Nanotechnology is harnessing chemistry to create polymers that can be used for solar power in new ways - flexible solar cells, cheaper materials, and more efficient solar power.
3. Chemists are finding ways to separate hydrogen from oxygen in water so that we can change solar energy (light) into chemical energy (hydrogen, which can be stored and burned).
All materials are chemical products.
no, autotrophs converts solar energy to chemical energy
solar to chemical energy is photosynthesis.... google ATP photosynthesis for more info.... solar panels also convert solar energy, but they convert it to electrical energy
Light Energy and Solar Energy are all a part produced by the sun.
energy
ITS NOT
A solar collector, or solar panel is what collects solar energy. The energy that is generated by the solar collector is then routed to either a battery or an inverter that converts the energy to AC voltage.
Solar panels are not an example of solar energy but rather they are means through which solar energy (that is energy from the sun) is converted into electricity. Check out the related link for great videos and information on solar panels.
Light energy is related to chemical energy because they both can be transformed into eachother.
Helium that is produced by the conversion of hydrogen into energy is related to the solar core in the sense that the conversion process produces energy captured in the core.
sunburn
The source of solar energy is the sun. The sun contains hydrogen, which by fusion, is converted to helium. The fusion reaction gives off solar energy. See related link.
solar energy creates high pressure systems that come from the poles high pressure systwms cause wind that blows from the North. they are global winds. We use global winds to make wind energy so it is correct to say that wind energy and solar energy are related
That's called "chemical energy". It refers to the energy related to the forces between atoms and molecules.Actually, there are also other types of potential energy in chemistry, such as heat of fusion, and heat of vaporization.
The colors are made in factories. These factories need electricity to work. this electricity collect by solar energy. Also, solar energy is electromagnetic energy radiating from the Sun. This is wave energy and it has a wavelength, and color is associated with the wavelength, as in a rainbow.
See related links.
To date there are few if any environmental concerns with solar energy. One stretch on this might be this: what types of energy are used to create solar energy components. And, are these components "earth friendly". So far solar engineers have seen no environmental related protests.
it provides the energy for photosynthesis, a major factor in the carbon cycle
