because the the oceans color is reflected into the sky
Rumor has it is it's blue because light reflects off of the ocean turning it blue. Might not be true though
The ozone in the air
make sure the sky stays blue
Yes There CAn Be A Blizzard Under A Blue Sky . The Sky Doesn{t Need To be dark for it to be blizzard
No. The sky is just as blue as a blue shirt though. Technically an object, such as a shirt or the sky, is not blue. The object just appears to be blue because it absorbs all other colors of the spectrum and reflects blue back which is the same with any other color seen.
The sky is blue because of Rayleigh scattering -- blue photons scatter off air molecules to a large extent, while the other colors travel directly in straight lines from the sun, making the sky appear blue and the sun appear yellow (white minus blue). In space, or on the airless moon, the sky is black and sun is white. It is NOT true that oceans look blue due to sky reflection. Water also scatters blue light, so the explanation of its color is largely the same as that for the sky.
Blue!
true that is why the sky is blue

i don't think so, the blue color of the sky is because of the dispersion of light, as when the light reaches the sky it has minimum wavelength when reflected so it appears blue, as the blue color has minimum wavelength
The ocean is not naturally blue, the water reflects the rays from the sky. The sky is blue because A clear cloudless daytime sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.
The violet and blue parts of the solar spectrum are dispersed most, and this leads to the characteristic "blue sky" as seen from Earth's surface in the daytime.
during day: when light comes , the blue colour is scattererd the most(rayleigh's law) as it has the least wavelength. so sky is blue in day time. in night there is no light so scattering so as a result black in colour.
The desert in daytime is bright orange sand and the sand is very hot and the sky is blue and clear. lots of sand hills and very little plant or water only really found on a Savannah or oasis.
