∙ 7y agowarmed air (hot air) always goes upward as it's property.so people are working at floor level who uses air and this used up air is warm so it will goes up.and that's why VENTILATORS ARE PROVIDED AT CEILING LEVEL.
because hot air are lighter than cold air and as hot air is lighter in moves up ward and cold air moves downward and to make the hot air pass and cold air enter the room venilators are kept on ceilings

∙ 14y agoBecause fumes and the air we exhale are lighter than the fresh air, they go up. So they are easily pushed out when ventilator/ exhaust fan are above the window making way for fresh air to enter from the window.
