ventilators are provided in the rooms just below the roofs because when the air inside the room gets hot this warm air rises up... and flow through these ventilators and thus cool air remains at bottom......so this is how ventilators make us relieve in hot summers ,i hope i made u satisfy by my answer :)

warmed air (hot air) always goes upward as it's property.so people are working at floor level who uses air and this used up air is warm so it will goes up.and that's why VENTILATORS ARE PROVIDED AT CEILING LEVEL.

because hot air are lighter than cold air and as hot air is lighter in moves up ward and cold air moves downward and to make the hot air pass and cold air enter the room venilators are kept on ceilings

Because fumes and the air we exhale are lighter than the fresh air, they go up. So they are easily pushed out when ventilator/ exhaust fan are above the window making way for fresh air to enter from the window.

warm air is less heavier than cool air. Warm air moves up and cool air occupies the space . So ventilators made closer to the cealings ep the warm air to move out of the room.....
