Willam was disqualified for two reasons, it seems. First, he admitted to stealing items from set. Apparently, nearly everyone knew this, but since he was such a good character on the show and because he took things for all the contestants, no one really cared. The more important reason seems to be that he was getting visits from his husband. When he left for the show, he told his husband that he was filming a movie in Europe. His husband didn't believe him and followed him to the hotel. This HIGHLY broke the rules of RuPaul's Drag Race, so he was let go from the show. He knew it was coming and says he does not regret the way in which he left. All of this was revealed at the season 4 reunion. I think the most shocking part of this story is that someone agreed to marry Willam.
