The app that you are trying to open may not be compatible with your version of iPod Touch software.
For example, if you have the iPod Touch 3.0 software, a lot of apps will not work with it because the apps are not compatible with that specific software.

- The software on the iPhone is outdated, and all of the apps require a higher version to work.
- The software on the iPhone is too new, and all of the apps have not been developed to work on it yet.
- You have jailbroken your iPhone, and you downloaded bad apps through the jailbreak.
- You just didn't download the apps correctly, and you need to delete the ones that don't work and try it again.
