Just out the truck in neutral first. Engage the 4 wheel drive. You will hear this happening. Be sure to put it back in neutral to disengage the 4 wheel drive. First off are you sure it is not working?
Sometimes it is hard to tell, you may only feel a little resistance in the steering when when turning.
The four wheel drive transfer case is solenoid actuated so do some electrical detective work.
Is the switch working?
Is the fuse blown?
Is there power to the solenoid when the switch is on?
Have someone turn it on while you listen under the vehicle, does it click?
remove the solenoid and reconnect the wire connector and try it again, the solenoid should move and click.
The battery in the remote needs to be replaced.
try checking the fuse first , then if that doesn't work there may be a short somewhere
#1 blown fuse #2 brake pedal switch #3 light bulbs and/or sockets
Running light does not work what is the problem
yeah i wonder mines 2002 Chevy cavalier and it just says "err" yeah i wonder mines 2002 Chevy cavalier and it just says "err"
One reason that a keyless entry remote will not open the doors is a dead battery, either on the vehicle or the key itself. Another reason is that the remote needs to be reprogrammed.
Working on a 2002 Chevy is a brill idea
why wont 82 Chevy van fuel guage work
I would check the fuses.

you neede to have the pcm scanned it will tell you which cylinder is misfiring. most prob. cause is the coil pack on that cylinder.
If the front blower and the front windshield wiper do not work on a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer, it could be the fault of the relay switches on the blower and the wiper. Also check the fuse box on top of the battery for a multi-function fuse that might be blown.
