Make sure your two cables are hooked up in the canvas roof...One on each side....If not,Take pliers and pull forward and hook into notches.... Also, check for hydraulic fluid leaks. Look under the rear seat. If it's oily, you have a leaking ram or line. John

Check the top relay to make sure that power is being fed to the top motor. If the relay is ok then you will need to check the top motor as it could be bad.

You must remove the back seat which just pops up and out. there will be a little cubby back there that has the motor sitting in it. undo the wire plug and pull the motor straight up carefull not to tip it or the hydraulic fluid may leak out. You can find a new one on eBay for about $150.
