There could be two causes for this. The first is the fuse is getting weak and the second is the relay isn't working.
How to turn off flashers on a 2002 Mazda tribute
starter.......if it makes a turn over noise than its the altanator
It's a triangular button on the middle of the dashboard, and it will turn off the flashers if the alarm is accidentally set off (the key fob alarm button will only turn off the horn beeping, not the flashers, if you accidentally push the key fob alarm button.)
it needs to be replaced
I saw in other places that yes it does have separate flashers.
To program a 2005 Mazda Tribute remote, first, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position without starting the engine. Within five seconds, turn the key back to "Off" and then back to "On" again. Repeat this process a total of three times, ending with the key in the "On" position. Press any button on the remote to complete the programming. The locks should cycle to confirm successful programming.
Press the red rectangle above the clock.
Put the key in the lock and turn it to unlock the door.
Driver's side to the left of the pedals, above the fuse panel.

The flasher box in the Mazda MX3 is the plug in that controls the flashers for the turn signals and also the hazard lights. This part is located under the dash on the driver's side, just above the brake pedal area.
To unlock a Mazda Tribute radio, you typically need the radio's security code, which can be found in the owner's manual or obtained from a Mazda dealership using your vehicle's VIN. If you have the code, turn on the radio and enter the code using the preset buttons. If you do not have the code, contacting a Mazda dealer for assistance is the best option. Make sure to have your vehicle information handy for verification.
