does the engine have a carburetor or is it fuel injected? A carbed engine has mixture screws along with a base idle screw, a fuel injected engine the idle is computer controlled.
With the engine running at idle, turn the steering wheel ALL the way to the right. Then ALL the way to the left. Do this a couple of times to get all the air our of the hoses. Refill the reservoir as needed.
The idle speed is computer controlled
