Most likely you have overheating, that's why the keeps running. You need to check the temperature control sensor and the thermostat.
Between the front bumper and the two cooling fans.
radiator is in front off the cooling fans ,in the front of engine.
Yes its in the back of the grill area in front of the radiator
because i don't own one
open your hood, locate the radiator, its on the left hand side at the bottom of the radiator, its pupose is to close the circuit when the coolant get above normal and turn on the cooling fans.
Sounds like the thermal switch needs replacing.
look under cover for the fuse boxes and you should see Fan 1, Fan 2, and Fan 3 called out. Those will tell you which relays are for the coolant fans.
Low coolant, stuck thermostat, failed waterpump, plugged radiator, inoperative radiator fans, etc.
Front left of engine. Behind radiator and fans, halfway down
a 2000 model has 2 both are electric
1, but if you have A/C there will be 2. One on the left between the bumper and the radiator to push air in, one on the right between the engine and radiator to suck air through.
not 100% sure but under the bonnet to the left in a black box with all the other relays
