Most vending machines can be upgraded to accept dollar bills, you might have to cut a hole for the acceptor and purchase a new coin mechanism, harness and dollar bill acceptor, and bezel for the acceptor. If you don't have these things in stock it would run a vendor about 500.00 bucks to upgrade a older machine.
