Solomon had experience with a lot of wives/concubines and had a great understanding as well as being taught on how they are. Wisdom is a marriage in which one engages, you court it by asking for it. Then you marry into the relationship never to leave it. Much like a marriage it improves you, you learn things, more patient and understanding. Wisdom is the 'love' you've wanted and now have, so take care of it as will take care of you.

∙ 12y agoFrom the time of the Babylonian Exile until around the end of the first century CE, and even in the New Testament gospels, we find reference to Wisdom (sometimes referred to as Lady Wisdom) as a spirit/goddess. Proverbs tells us that she was with God at the time of creation. B. Lang (Wisdom and the Book of Proverbs: An Israelite Goddess Redefined) believes that in pre-Exilic times, she was the Israelite goddess of wisdom.
