Dogs like to play with their beds and enjoy it, and feel comfortable with that pulling of bed activity. Dogs loves to pull any object with their teeth. Also because some dogs get hot in kennels and like to have cold body temperature.

I know a spaniel who pulls it's bedding out of the kennel/bed because it wants to hump it! I think it's hilarious, but we try not to encourage. Yes, it has been Neutered.
