Lose of power or ground since all the gauges quit working.
Check your fuses. If it is not a fuse, they are notorious for the dash burning out and needing to be replaced.
Bad dash ground.

Checked owners manual for any obvious fuses. Any recommendations why instrument panel and gauges would guit working?

Check for a fuse in fuse block marked gauges.
check the fuse ,on drivers side dash,open door and should see the cover,look on back side of cover to see fuse diagram
A wire going to the battery broke off, when it was reconnected the gauges and lights on the gauges start working again, however the speedometer and the tachometer did not operate.
