Why would an MEDC suffer less than a LEDC in an wildfire?

An MEDC will have more money. which can help in a lot of different ways eg: firefighters, planes/helicopters.(dumping water and flame retardant on to it) and fire retardant houses. The over all damage cost of it will obviously not effect an MEDC as much as a LEDC. LEDC just cant simply afford this sum of money which is normally in the millions. This will effect the country's secondary effects(economy)
