Why would you want to know I hope your not planning to poison someone
Nicodemus is reluctant because he cares about Mrs. Frisby's safety and doesn't want her to risk getting hurt while trying to poison Dragon. He knows the dangers involved in such a task and wants to protect her from harm. Additionally, Nicodemus may also be concerned about the ethical implications of using poison to solve the problem.
This saying means that someone doesn't need to bring you down or harm you in order to improve themselves or succeed. It emphasizes that there is enough room for everyone to shine and succeed without causing harm to others.
First of all, I have to question why you would want to drink BaSO4. If it's for use as a contrasting agent, then that would make sense, but it is not wise to drink pure barium sulfate, as it is only liquid between 1580 and 1600 degrees celcius. Mix some BaSO4 powder with some form of sweetened drink if you have to drink it. If you are not using it as a contrast agent, then why on earth are you trying to drink a potentially toxic substance?
If someone tried to 'flag you down,' they would be attempting to get your attention or stop you, usually by waving their hand or an object. It is often done to request assistance, ask a question, or engage in communication.
Painfully. If you mean, how does it kill a human, according to a National Poison Control Service, the amount of rat/mouse poisoning needed to kill an adult human is so great that it would not "make sense." (as if any of this would!) Several boxes full would make an adult sick, but ingesting several boxes would be awfully hard to ingest. The way in which rat poisoning kills mice or rats is through the same mechanism as Warfarin (used in humans under the brand name blood thinner, "Coumadin." These chemicals "thin" the blood and reduce its ability to clot. That is great news when trying to avoid a stroke or a heart attack, because the blood can "fit" through narrowed vessels, but bad news to a very small mammal, who, by eating enough of it, would bleed internally until it died. Even a large rat, though, weighs so little compared to a human, that the active poison in boxed rat/mouse poisoning would have little toxic effect. Dogs can get terribly messed up, though, as the stuff often seems tempting and tasty to them, so keep containers away from all pets. An overdose of a Coumadin-type product, whether intentional or not, can seriously damage/kill a human. The result is similar to the way in which a hemophiliac would bleed internally, possibly leading to death. The remedy, if applied in time, is a combination of blood transfusions and vitamin K, which increases the clotting factor found in normal blood, that has been depleted by the poison. This is why ongoing testing must be done whenever anyone is on blood thinners, so the right amount can be administered and titrated.

Dude what did you do to her?!?!
I would think it was someone constantly trying to improve themselves, or others but in an overpowering way.
scapegoating!
No, I have not considered trying the traditional healing practice involving the use of kambo frog poison.
She kissed his lips trying to get some of the remaining poison for herself.
A brown noser is someone who is trying to be pleasant at all times, doing odd office jobs for someone, laughing at jokes which are not funny, trying hard to be with the clique but others would ignore him or her but still he or she persists.
You can tell if he is acting weird ,and is making this weird food or something in a pot or something, and you can tell if it smells weird. Not all poison has taste or smell. If you think some-one is trying to poison you, dont let them near anything you are going to consum.
Not only are you preventing the speaker from completing what he or she is trying to say, but f you speak when someone else is speaking, you (and others) can't listen to what the speaker is trying to say. If you don't listen to what the speaker is saying, it's very difficult to formulate an articulate response.
Trying to understand how someone is feeling when he or she speaks is an example of emotional intelligence. It involves being aware of and able to manage one's own emotions, as well as being able to recognize and empathize with the emotions of others.
Cleopatra would not have had to hire someone to poison Ptolemy XIV. All she would have to do was order it. She may have rewarded the one who actually gave him the poison, but as an Egyptian queen her word was law. She wanted him out of the way because he, also, like her other brother and sister, had supporters that were trying to overthrow her. To Cleopatra, it was a matter of self-preservation.
