There is a head light driver relay #46 in the fuse box under the hood. Switch it momentarily to test it with the fan relay, if your lights come on like mine did with my o4 I then ordered it on-line from Rock auto parts for $34.24. I read that auto-zone carries them for around $40.00 but I can't verify that. Good luck.
Sounds like the dimmer switch is shot and needs replacing.
yes,4 separate bulbs,2high beam-2 low beam
Headlights have two filaments; one for low beams and one for high beams. There is a good chance that the low beams are burnt out. This doesn't necessarily mean that the high beams won't work. However, it's not too common for both low beams to burn out at the same time. Of course, it could be a fluke. I would replace the headlights with new ones and then go from there.
Check your owners manual.
Two comom reasons 1) bulbs are burned out 2) wiring harness has burned out. unfortunatly a common failure on these trucks. See if the wires are melted or crispy. This also pops the fuse. www.trailvoy.com All the answers about the Envoy /Trailblazer platform trucks!
First check the bulbs, if the bulbs are good I would suspect the high/low beam switch is bad.
Most cars: Pull your turn signal towards you.
fuse, bulbs or switch
are you pushing or pulling. one direction flashes the high beams, the other clicks them on.
Your headlights are burnt out. Ever see a car coming at you with their high beams on and when they turn them off they only have one or none. Check with the parts store but that would be the easiest problem
Your high beams work but your low beams do not because the switch is broken that switches between high and low beams. Electrical switches wear out.
