Do you mean water leak or water pressure at the faucet? If you are not getting water thru the pipes you may have low pressure, or there is some blockage in the pipes preventing the water from flowing.

Lots of times dirt gets in the small holes in the shower head and the sinks faucet (right where the water comes out). You will need to turn the water off in the basin or the shower. Next, take a pair of pliers and remove the shower head, or the basin's spout head. Look in the piece you removed. Is there dirt in it? Clean it or replace the part. Turn the water back on. Hopefully it was only debris blocking your water flow.

The entire faucet will not have to be removed. Only unscrew the spout's aerator head., or the showere head.

Why would the water level in a toliet bowl decrease?

because it might be clogged Water level in your toilet bowl is first determined by the water level in your reserve tank on back of stool. Check there first to see if it is filling properly. Second reason, maybe that you have a obstruction in you main line, however slight it will cause gravity to take control.

Should You Get A Hot Water Tank For Upstairs ?

Gravity works against hot water heaters. Generally they are on the main level of the house. The hot water has to flow upward to reach upstairs bath fixtures. Some owners invest in a second water heater which is placed on the second level. The main danger with this is a leak. Some consider this danger too great. Others see the cost as prohibitive. However, some home advice experts recommend a second water heater. By adding an upstairs water heater, home owners decrease water and power usuage. They don't use as much water because it is warm on the spot.
