LEDs can be customized to emit only the light the plant uses for photosynthesis

making it is a very efficient grow light. They also use very little electricity, create

very little heat, and have a longer lifespan then other types of grow lights.

Why do they not put lights in the living room?

You can light a living room with wall sconces, ceiling lights, table lamps and floor lamps. If lighting fixtures are not installed in your living room, you have the freedom to decorate for task lighting and interior design. Wall lights and floor lamps give you focused light for reading or other tasks that require concentrated light. To illuminate a room, you need direct and indirect lighting. You can choose ceiling lights such as pendant lamps or flushmount ceiling lights or chandeliers. This give you light from above. The light comes from the ceiling and pours downward. Torchiere floor lamps throw light upwards towards the ceiling. Floor lamps are sometimes arched with swing arms. These are portable and can be moved to where task light is needed. Table lamps pour light downwards towards the table surface. You can even place LED candle lights on tables to serve as accessories.

How far apart do you put outdoor pathway lights?

Why do fog lamps show up more in fog than other lamps?

Fog lamps on a car show up a lot more in the fog than other lamps simple because they are much brighter. It is therefore advised that you only use them in extreme cases of fog as it can cause issues for other drivers if you have your fog lights on when there is little to no fog.

Are led lights harmful?

led lights are eco friendly in the aspect of energy consumption. they consume less energy for the same lumens compared to other conventional lamps

Less then a few present of the energy supplied to 100w lamp appears in the form of visible light What happens to rest of it What could be done to increase this percentage?

The remaining energy is radiated as heat. Making the filament hotter should increase the percentage of visible light. I believe some lamps (like halogen lamps) do this. But the real solution is to use other technologies - like fluorescent lights, or LEDs.The remaining energy is radiated as heat. 1997 Suburban tail lights and dash lights don't work all other lights work anyone have an answer as to why?

I'd suggest checking your fuses. My 1999 GMC burban has multiple fuses for different sets of lights. If they are the same I'd start by checking fuse: 9 - 20A Park Lamps. That should be for your License Lamp, Parking Lamps, Taillamps, Roof Marker Lamps, Tailgate Lamps, Front Sidemarkers, Fog Lamp Relay, Door Switch Illumination, Fender Lamps, Headlamp Illumination. It might worth chekcing fuses 1 & 3 as well since these also cover some of the illumination/lap accessories. I'd look in the index of your manual to get a detailed description of what your fuses are as well. I'm assuming the fuse configuration is the same as my 99 since they body styles would be the same. Good Luck.

What happens to the brightness of the lights when you decrease the number of light bulbs in a circuit?

The brightness of the lights may or may not change depending on the circuit in which they are wired. In a series circuit, all the bulbs (called lamps) will experience the same current flow. The same amount of current will be flowing through each one, and each one will be dropping some amount of voltage. If we remove some of the lamps and reconnect the circuit, the lamps will glow brighter because there is less total resistance in the circuit. The remaining lamps will end up dropping more voltage, and will glow brighter. In a parallel circuit, removing bulbs (or adding them) will not affect the operation of the other lamps in the circuit (providing the voltage source is adequate). We know that each of the lights in a household circuit is wired in parallel, and turning one or more on or off won't affect the operation (the brightness) of any other light that is on.

For what purposes are UV lamps designed for?

Some of the purposes that UV lamps are designed for are to attract bugs and other insects. There may be a electric system rigged to the lamp to kill the insects as they hit the lamp. Other uses include black lights, which illuminates certain materials. UV light is invisible to the human eye, but makes other materials florescent.

How do you change the fuse for dash lights in a 1997 Ford Escort?

The dash lights are connected to fuse #2 in the fuse block which controls: Instrument cluster, illumination, license plate lamp, parking lamps, side marker lamps, tail lamps, (radio, climate control illumination). The fuse block is located just under the dash right about where your left knee is when you are sitting in the driver seat. Note: If only your dash lights are out and the other lights listed above are working, then your dimmer may be turned down (located on the left side of the dash, down low by your left knee as well) or else the dimmer may be bad or there is a wiring problem. Good luck.

What happens to the current in a circuit if more lights are added?

Assuming you are referring to house lamps, these are always connected in parallel with each other. Each lamp will draw a current, the value of which depends on the wattage of the lamps. As each lamp is added, the supply current will increase by the amount of current drawn by that lamp.
