there are sensors all over the car you need to be more specific
There are two temp sensors on this car. Basically the have the same function, just for different parts of the engine. The one you need controls engine component Via the PCM(engine computer). It is located on the right side of the block around the top hose. Look for the two wire harness, for the sensor is sort of hidden. Remember there are two sensors, but i believe you need to upper one. Hope this helps
There are at least two position sensors, which one? There are standard procedures to test sensors. You need to specify your question.
There are 4 sensors on the manifoldcoming out of the engine. The highest two are the Air Fuel sensors. You can see them easily from above the engine. One is behind or in a heat shield. There are two more sensors that are lower. These sensors are the oxygen sensors. When ordering you need to know if the sensors are right hand or left hand, don't forget that is from the drivers seat not the way you face them from front of the car.
yes you need them both most newer vehicles have 2 upstream and 2 down stream sensors they are used to determine fuel consumption
motion sensors and voice activated doors
voice activation and motion sensors
it has 4 sensors two before cat and two after
Assuming you have the V-6 engine, it has two downstream (after the cats) O2 sensors and two upstream (before the cats) Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors. So the answer to your question is two O2 sensors.
There are four oxygen sensors. Two are pre-catalyst and two are post-catalyst oxygen sensors. Basically, there is one sensor for each side of the engine in front of the catalytic converter and there are two sensors behind the catalytic converter.
AnswerYou will have a total of four oxygen sensors. Two will be before the catalytic converters and two after. I would suggest to rent or buy the special socket to remove them as they are hard to get at on the four wheel drives.
the two sensors on a transmission communicate with the computer to the engine and tells the transmission when to shift up or down....
