Because we get many immigrants from Mexico (sorry, Mexicans) and some people are friends with them. 2. since here in America we get people from all cultures and places, we need to know many languages. But as an Elementary student we can't learn even two at a time, most likely, so we just chose one, Spanish. 3. Spanish just really is a nice language, don't you think?
