Perhaps there is a leak in one of the windows or sunroof; or perhaps from the engine compartment under the dashboard.
(wild guess)
windsheild leaks
It is quite possible that a wet floor on a 1996 Oldsmobile Silhouette is caused by a leak in the body that allowed rain water to get into the passenger area. Window seals and the seals around the front firewall could have been damaged enough for this to happen.
Check your sunroof drain hose. mine came loose and when it rained my floorboard was wet.
that the floor is wet
Heater core failure.
It is called a tropical wet region because of the rain keeping it wet resulting in a rain forest.
Well, if your experience is anything like mine, your heater core is gone. Take it to the shop.
sounds like the drain on your ac evaporator core is plugged up. A service station should be able to blow this out. I own a 97 Buick Skylark with this problem (saturated floors on passenger front and back) but the water does seem to accumulate more after during and after a rain.
You get more wet standing in the rain.
Not many types of fruit grow in rain forests because it is to wet for them. If some rain hits a berry it could knock off the bush onto the floor where animals will stand on them or eat them.
wet suit, wet paint, wet floor.
The rain doesn't get wet when it rains because the raindrops itself are water droplets.
