Yes they do. I have Guitar Hero 5 for the wii and the drumset is fully compatible with newer guitar hero games just remember that the bass pedal is clear now not purple.
The Drumset is fully compatible with
Guitar Hero Smash Hits
Guitar Hero 5
Band Hero
Maybe if your drum machine is software on a windows machine, however you would need adapters depending on what game system you have the drums for and drivers for Windows again depending on what system you have the gear set up for. If you already have them set up for your PC and its not working you might have to use software like Xpadder (look around for outdated versions- theyre unliscenced and free) if its from a 360 version of rock band or DS3tool (100% free) if youre using a PS3 version. Though im not positive it would work with the PS3 version because the rock band peripherals on 360 emulate a controller input but i havent had PS3 rock band gear to experiment with to see if it works the same (but it most likely would because it would take more time and energy to have the different versions of the game use different means of input). But the software would be used to convert the pressed buttons of the "gamepad" into keypresses that your drum software could use OR if your drum machine is not software on your PC but an external device you might be able to use a midi interface to control it. However, even more software would be needed to convert the keypresses into midi for your drum machine to understand. If that all seems to complicated, buy a crappy drum machine, tear it open, tear open your rock band drums, resolder the drum machine buttons to be triggered by the rock band buttons (if it even has buttons under those foam mats) put your rock band drums back together and use it like that. Im sure there's easier ways to do this and probably dedicated software that would solve your problem (or even using an arduino, raspberry pi or other microcontroller to interface with it) but doing things the hard way is much more rewarding anyways.
No due to the simple fact that Guitar Hero 2 did not offer a drum track for the songs. Only two Guitars can be played at the same time on Guitar Hero 2.
depending you can only use it on the games (guitar hero) that allow you to play drums THE ONES LIKE GUITAR HERO 2 YOU CANT USE IT
Yes they do :) but the lag is bad on HD TVs
No
Yes, but not the drums (but a guitar hero drums will work on a rock band game)
You cannot use drums or sing on Guitar Hero 3. The drums work with Guitar Hero World Tour software only.
yes
yes
Your Guitar Hero World Tour Guitar will work with all Rock Band games but your drums will not work with any of the games because the Guitar Hero Drums have one more pad than the rock band drums
yes, the guitar hero drums will work for band hero
Yes, you can :) They work fine with Warriors of Rock, and with any other Guitar Hero game from World Tour onwards!
No, guitar hero aerosmith was made before gh world tour, which was when they added the drums and vocals. Therefore the only playable mode is guitar and bass, so obviously the drums and mic will not work.
No, the drums do not work in previous versions. As there weren't any.
You have to do a game update, so you need internet for your console , them the guitar hero drums work on rock band2, rock band 1 game wont work with guitar hero drums but you should be able to buy the export key and transfer the songs onto rock band 2
You cannot use the drums and mic on previous games because the controllers were not made at the time that guitar hero 3 was made.
You can play rock band drum on guitar hero drums band.
