yes ,but the motor mounts are probably different
NO YOU CAN NOT. IF the 95 is a 1/2 Ton then it MUST have the 4L60E transmission put back in it. If it is a 3/4 ton then it MUST have the 4L80E put in it. This is due to the computer system that's in the truck.
of course it can work
4.9L Inline-6, 5.0 v8, 5.8L V8
Down the automatic transmission dipstick tube.
My Contour didnt have a transmission filter. It was just one of those inline things that needed to be back flushed.
I have a 1995 chevy 4x4 with 4l60e which is bad i have other 4l60e out of a 1997 chevy 4x4 will it work ?
It will fit but it won't work and the truck will never run right. Reason is that the 95 is ALL computer controled. The transmission and engine and speed sensors ALL WORK TOGETHER. So you can't put a 1990 700R4 transmission in a truck that MUST have the 4L60E in it Because the 95 truck ECM / Engine controll module/computer will be wondering were the transmission is and the engine won't even run right. You will have nothing but problems. PUT THE 4L60E BACK IN IT and be done with it.
NO, That year truck MUST have the 4L60E transmission put in it.
NO it will not, The computer system on the truck is different.
If your 1995 Chevy 2500 truck won't go in reverse, you got some transmission problems.
The fluid level in an automatic transmission in a 1995 Dodge Truck should be checked at idle in Neutral with the engine at operating temperature. The fluid level in an automatic transmission in a 1995 Dodge Truck should be checked at idle in Neutral with the engine at operating temperature.
To reset the transmission on a 1995 Chevy truck, first, disconnect the negative battery cable for about 15 minutes to clear the transmission's memory. Reconnect the cable and start the engine. Then, drive the truck for a few miles to allow the transmission to relearn its shift points based on your driving habits. If issues persist, consider checking for error codes or performing further diagnostics.
