yes but the injector plugs are different. or you can use 95 intake on 96 engine

Any D-Series engine is compatible. My CX Started life as a Factory D15B8. Now it's a B8 Block with 4 Valve relief pistons, a 2000 D16Y8 Head and a 1995 D16Z6 Intake with a 2000 EX Transmission.
