The 1997 wrangler or jeep hardtop can be replaced by any jeep hardtop from 1997 to 2005. The answer is most probably that a 1995 hardtop will NOT fit a 1997 TJ.
No. Don't waste you time.
no....1997 to 2006 excluding unlimited longer wheelbase model
No it will not, jeep refined the overall shape in 2006 i beleive, making it impossible to fit the new hardtop on.
Not unless you're good at "gerry rigging." The YJ and the TJ have different body styles.
NO, you will waste your time and money.
No, they are different body styles.
it should fit jeeps from 1997- 2001 97-2006
Yes the 87 and 83 are both YJ's
Any TJ style Wrangler 1997-2006 (all 96's were titled as 97's I believe)
about 6 by about 4 ft
No that will not work, the YJ top mounts differently than the TJ top.
The 2003 Jeep Wrangler has 16 valves.
A 1997 Jeep Wrangler uses green coolant.
No, 2003-2006 is a diff. size. 97-2002 will fit
No. A YJ (1995 and before) is different than a TJ (1997 and later).
If I am not mistaken all tops are interchangeable on wranglers from 1997 to 2005 I am unaware that it, a 2004, would fit a 2006 wrangler. In other words I do not think they are interchangeable. The hardtop are interchangable for 1997 to 2006, but the electric connection on the back for the rear wiper and rear window defrost is different. The plug is the same from 1997 -2002 and 2003-2006. Jeep does sell a (pigtail) or adapter to make it work. The outside is the same with a few minor changes. There is no side vents on factory tops from 2003-2006 and the latch handles that connect to the windshield frame are slightly smaller on factory tops from 2003-2006. Hope this helps.
The 2003 Jeep Wrangler is a gas-powered vehicle.
