Sony has a strict policy of regional lockouts. NTSC/UC games can only be played on a NTSC/UC machine. NTSC/J games can only be played on a NTSC/J machine. PAL games can only be played on a PAL machine. If you are serious about wanting to play games that are out of the U.S., mod chip or swap disc is the only solution or you can try tracking down a foreign PS2.
No, you their is no way to play PAL games on a US PS2 console.
No USA PS3s are sent up for the USA TV System which is not thesame
Yes you can, due to the PS3 not being region locked the code globally is the same meaning that you can play any game on a PS3 providing it is a PS3 game.
I believe they do not work when they are from a different region
Just put it in and play it. I have a Japanese Inuyasha game and it works just fine.

no
No, that is impossible. Euope has a PAL code and the US uses NTSC/U.
no, because they have a different 'frequency' i guess u could say. thts why if u took an xbox 360 2 china or japan, then it wouldn't work.
No. Some versions of the PS3 is backwards compatible, as is the PS2, not forwards compatible. Both systems can play games made for earlier systems, but not for newer systems. The PlayStation 2 would be unable to handle the graphics and format of PlayStation 3 games. No a US or any other PS2 can not play PS3 games
PS2 games purchased in Peru will be encoded on the NTSC format. This should make them compatible with US PlayStation 2's which are also part of the NTSC coding.
Only in limited ways. First, you will not be able to play UK-bought games on your US PS2. The disks are encoded for a different region. Like movie DVDs, games are region-coded so that disks bought in Asia vs. Europe vs. the US aren't usable elsewhere. Second, you will either need a US-made television or a special connection to the UK TV. Finally, the power current is different. You will need a converter.
no
no the disc wont work
no only UK games play on UK consoles, and US games to not play on UK consoles
They are a different region and Pal
A US DSi can play UK games
yes They are released for North America or NA and not US
yes u can when you put in a special chip into ur ps3 you can play any us game but i think a special CD is replacing it Well, Currently only PS1 And PS2 Can Be Modded with Chip. PS3 Is already Region Free. Example. UK Games - DVD's Are Region 2. ECT.. PS3 games are region free in but PS2 games are not. It is not just the console that matters but also the game or movie disc. There are also problems because not every American disc was designed to switch to the Europe pal system
If you want to play a game that isn't the same region your console has to be modded, chipped, or some tampered with somehow.
nope the format does not suit it and the keycode too
Nope. Not by itself. You can buy ActionReplayMAX adn choose the FreeLoader option which will let you play foreign games on your US PS2.
