A paper clip would float not sink. The only stuff that would sink would be the heavy stuff like a TV.
thanks 4 the answer bro
well the scientific way would be if the density of the object is greater than 1g/ml it will sink, if it less than 1g/ml it will float.
SINK
unboiled eggs float, but the boiled ones sink.
The paper clip is more dense than the water, and it will sink. Water does not have sufficient buoyancy to support it. As regards density, the metal in the paperclip has more mass per unit of volume than the water does.
no they dont float like normal people
Dry paper is less dense than water and will float. But paper is absorbent: when in contact with water, it will start to absorb water into its fibers. This increases the density, so eventually it becomes saturated and sinks. Paper boats can be made, where only a small portion of the sheet is touching the water, slowing the absorption rate and allowing it to float much longer.
It will be very depending on the glass size. You may float 100 paper clips on the sink.
It depends on the material with which the clip is made. If is made up of plastic it would float and if it is made up of metal then it would sink. Also the way in which we place the clip would decide whether it would float or sink. If we place even a metallic clip on the surface of water without disturbing the surface then it would float. It is due to the surface tension property of the liquid.

A paper clip does not float on ethanol because the surface tension of ethanol is not enough to support the weight of the paper clip. Evelyn Biologist
float
because of the weight of it
Yes
maybe, try IT YOU self
Distribution of the clip's mass and water's surface tension.
maybe, try IT YOU self
no because the papper will absorb the water making it heavier and it will sink.
it would for a while but eventually the paper would get wet and heavy and the lantern would sink.
it will float as long as it is not fully covered water.
