The virus is on the hard drive so if you get a new hard drive the virus will be gone. A cheaper option would be to just reinstall the operating system though. (Vista, Win 7)
Your old game saves will be on your old hard drive/ memory unit. If they are on a memory unit then it is a simple issue of plugging the memory unit into the new xbox and copying the old save to the new hard drive. If you have an old hard drive you can plug the old hard drive into the new xbox and play from there. If you want to transfer the saved games from the old hard drive to the new hard drive you need a hard drive transfer cable and follow the instruction to transfer the data from the old hard drive to the new one.
When you buy the new hard drive it will most likely come with a transfer cable which will enable you to transfer all of your saved data from one hard drive to another.
It depends if u got a new hard-drive or if you are on a different account. Try going onto a different account and maybe that will work. But if you got a new hard drive, put your old one in and transfer the memory onto a flashdrive and then put in the new hard-drive in and transfer the data from the flash drive to it.
you would have to remove the harddrive which is actually very easy You CANNOT just transfer the hard drive. The ps3 will format the new hard drive therefore erasing all data on the drive.
You need to use imaging software such as Acronis Image, R-Image and so on. You will able to make a precise copy of your hard drive and install it on a new hard drive.
Yes, but you could also format (delete all the data) the old hard drive to get rid of a virus.
Its the blue screen of death you need a new hard drive :(
You can access the hard drive from the bottom of the laptop. If you turn the laptop upside down, you'll find the hard drive door under the Toshiba sticker with the laptop serial number. Remove two screws from the hard drive cover and then remove the cover. Slide the hard drive to the right and remove it. Transfer the hard drive bracket to a new hard drive.
Go into settings. Select memory, then games, then hard drive. Make saves of each game, then restart the Xbox having plugged in your new hard drive. Do the same thing, and simply drag each file that you want over onto your new hard drive.
I believe that the 4 gb xbox 360 you are talking about is the new slim. There is no way to use your old hard drive with the new slim xbox. You will need to buy a transfer cable to move your saved games to the 4gb hard drive.
No I don't think you can. I'm sure that you need to buy a transfer kit. I'm not sure where you can get them from.
