Dilaudid will show up as an opiate on a standard five panel drug screening - people get this confused and say that it will NOT show up on a 5 panel they are half correct NO - The test result will not say "Dilaudid Positive" it will however say "OPIATE POSITIVE" they dont care what kind of opiate you used, if your not supposed to be using that drug then you will fail, lets say your getting tested for a job and you have a script for another drug that will trigger a OPIATE POSITIVE result, then you can tell your job before hand that you are on X drug and show them your script, now the company may or may not want to do further testing to see what all opiates you are on - this costs a lot more money for the company paying for your drug screening so they probably will NOT - but its totally up to the company hier. Good news is that if you can put 3 or more clean days between you and your drug screening you will more then likely pass - in my case i passed a 5 panel pre-employment drug screening 70 hours after using, and i had been using every day for over a year. hope this helps...
