No. Snorting it will only clog ur nose and possibly make it bleed. Just dissolve under tongue or chew it.

Alprazolam is partially water soluble. This means that it will partially dissolve in water. You can snort Xanax and will definitely feel the effects. However the bio-availability is around 20% less then oral administration. You have blood vessels in your sinus cavity. When you snort Xanax, the drug enters your bloodstream through these blood vessels in your mucus membranes. Also, some of the drug ends up in your lungs were you also have blood vessels.

Note: Water solubility has nothing to do with why you feel or don't feel the affects from snorting Xanax. It's a little more complicated then that. Amphetamines are highly water soluble and most people will tell you, you don't feel them as much when you snort a pill.
