also because the 5200 has no real shader 2.0 support (as my geforce 5700 LE)

as you can see nvidia at the time was really behind ATI video cards.
so micro$oft helped nvia and invented the broken shader 2.a
this game doesn't work with pixel shader 1.2 or 1.4 card. minumum is 2.0 shader, and even with that some stuttering has been reported. (well, even with 2x8800GTS SLI)
probably the game have really bad coded LOD and shaders, hope in a quick patch to resolve some of the problems encountered by many gamers
