Depends on which version of Call of Duty you are referring to.
FX 5500 cards are old (more than a decade at this point, being produced in 2003), and don't support any of the hardware acceleration modes needed by modern games.
I suspect that a 5500 FX will support the original 2003 Call of Duty, probably Call of Duty 2, and maybe Call of Duty 3.
It absolutely will not work with Call of Duty 4 (and all of the subsequent versions under the "Modern Warfare" moniker).
Well I haven't played COD 4 on my 310m, but I've played MW2, which i'd imagine has higher system requirements. MW2 ran perfect, with a very high resolution and almost all settings on max. I assume COD 4 would run the same.
I also have an i5 dual core and 4G RAM, so if you have similar specs, you're all set.
no, minimal recrumented Geforce 6600
no. cant 6600+ model supports shader
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will not run on a nVidia GeForce 6200 GT graphics card. You will need a 256 MB nVidia GeForce 6600GT or better graphics card.
no because the minimum is geforce 6600
Try Nvidia's 9 series (like geforce 9200 or 9800 for gamers) they also came out with a heavy duty card. geforce 350 to handle the modern day games. But cost 500 bucks.
Yes, you have a very nice graphics card.
I have a Nvidia GeForce FX5500 256MB 128Bit AGP and i can play: Source Engine Games(Half-Life 2, Counter Strike: Source Team Fortress 2)(Low-Medium Settings) Unreal Tournament 2003/2004 (Medium Settings) I think call of duty 2 will run on your card. They are more examples on games that can run on your card online/
nvidia GeForce GTX 295 enjoy
I think you can play it, but with all settings on the low/medium side. You can play'it...I Have a GeForce 6200 and I'm playing at High Details on 800x600 Screen Resolution.
Yes. The official video card specifications are: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better
call of duty world at war on nvidia 6200
No.System requirements state you need at least nVidia 7300GT or ATI Radeon X1600. But there are alternatives instead of getting a PCI-e GPU. You can save up for an X1650 which is an AGP card or perhaps the nVidia 6200GT though I recommend a 7950GT if you don't wanna play a PowerPoint slide.-Shadownicky.
