I'm in the ATC and my NCO team have a trick that uses white vinegar cotton wool balls and parade gloss. 1) soak one cotton wool ball in the white vinegar that you have poured in to the lid of your polish. 2) rub the cotton wool in the polish to get the bottom of it covered. 3) using small circles polish the toe caps till there is no polish left on the cotrton wool then start the process again. this works well for building up layers then use a yellow duster and a small dot of polish with either white vinegar or your own spit to get a high shine that will last if you keep going over it. hope this helps :)
