Although she isn't a vampire, Renesmee actually is immortal.

During Breaking Dawn, Alice and Jasper go and get another half human, half vampire. He grew extremely quickly until he was about 16 years old and then just stoped aging and never died.

But Renesmee will still also have a heart beat and all of her other human qualities.

Also vampire Irina Denali mistakes Renesmee for am immortal child and imediately informs the volturi ... They then go to investigate the intreging information given by Irina , They then want to kill renesmee and the rest of the Cullens... Then whilst investigating, the cullens hear that the volturi know and get together other covens from all over the world and all defend the cullens and renesmee... They all then inform them that she is not immortal (eventhough she is) to save her life ... because the volturi say that immortal children are out of control ... Suprised by another shocking discovery the volturi imediatley exicute Irina for making then come and investigate unnesicarilly ... But in the process still don't know whether to kill renesmee and the rest of the cullens ... Because she could be a threat to the volturi and the rest of the vampires in the world

That was never answered in the books. Her age progresses but it will eventually stop when she looks to be about 17 years of age and will be immortal like each of the vampires.
