What is solubility value of carbon dioxide in sodium hydroxide?

Carbon dioxide react with sodium hydroxide.

How do you find solubility of carbon dioxide in sodium hydroxide?

Carbon dioxide react with sodium hydroxide.

How do you find solubility value of carbon dioxide in sodium hydroxide?

Carbon dioxide react with sodium hydroxide.

Can sodium hydroxide absorb carbon dioxide?

Yes. Sodium hydroxide will react with carbon dioxide to form sodium bicarbonate. NaOH + CO2 --> NaHCO3

What metal reacts with water to give a solution which forms a white precipitate with carbon dioxide?

Calcium. It reacts with water to form a solution of calcium hydroxide which can then react with carbon dioxide to form calcium carbonate, a white precipitate. You will get similar results with strontium and barium.

What is potassium hydroxide used for in an experiment to demonstrate that carbon dioxide is produced by green plants during respiration?

Potassium hydroxide will react with carbon dioxide to produce potassium carbonate.

Does hydrogen react with hydrochloric acid?

Yes it wil. Washing soda(sodium carbonate) react with hydrocloric acid(HCL) to produce sodium salt(Nacl) +water + carbon dioxide

Why can't potassium hydroxide be used to test for carbon dioxide?

it is because potassium hydroxide will react with carbon dioxide to form potassium carbonate and water. but potassium carbonate is soluble, so there will be no visible change to see if there is carbon dioxide emitted

How would you test carbon dioxide to show that it was hydrogen?

Carbon dioxide form a milky suspension of calcium carbonate in calcium hydroxide; hydrogen doesn't react. But hydrogen react with oxygen when a flame exist.

Does chlorofluorocarbons react with carbon dioxide?

No Chroloflourocarbons can not react with carbon dioxide

What happens when uranium and strontium get wet?

Uranium don't react with water at room temperature; strontium react with water and the hydroxide Sr(OH)2 is formed.

Oxides will react with hydrochloric acid but not with aqueous sodium hydroxide?
