Highly unlikely, the anime has had a modfied ending, since the light novels it was based from have not ended yet, but the final few episodes were very similar.
There is nowhere else to go with the story.
It would definitely be better if they write up another sequel since they could make up a story about what happened when they got to collage and stuff :)) personally i am still waiting for a sequel it would be awesome :)
