"Godzilla vs The Thing" was the American title for the movie "Mothra vs Godzilla". Using that logic, The Thing was Mothra.
No one can say really. Many TV & movie versions of Godzilla have been produced since his debut in 1954.He'll make another appearance in 2017 w/ the Japanese animated film Godzilla Planet of the Monsters & then again in 2019 when the American made Godzilla King of the Monsters releases & then again in 2020 when the American made Godzilla vs Kong releases in theaters & then a sequel to 2016's Shin Godzilla is being considered for release after 2020 & two sequels to the animated film Planet of the Monsters planned for future dates.

they both win.in the American version king kong wins but in the Japanese version godzilla wins. ^ A common misconception. In both versions kong wins. Godzilla would win in real life, though.
