What does trazodone show up as in a drug screen?

Trazodone is metabolized by the liver into the enzyme CYP3A4. Normal drug testing would not register this. A specific test would have to be run just to detect the usage of trazodone, which would only be used under very special circumstances.

at the place where we check for drug testing Trazadone does not show up as one of the catagories. We test for Methadone, cocaine, moraphine/codiene, benzoids, and oxys/percocets. Trazadone does not show up under any of those catagories.

No you will not i take it every night for sleep and am on probation, ,meaning i get drug tested frequently and it has never shown up. However, when you do a test they do ask you before hand what medications you are on and telling them you are on that is probably a good idea. However, it does not show up because it is an anti-depressant, not a benzodiazapine (such as xanax or valium)

Yes you can, I been taking Trazodone for 5 years and it shows up as a positive result in a urine test as Meth, do a search of the 14 proscribed drugs that can cause a false positive in a urine test.

Trazodone is an antidepressant. If tested for, it would turn up as such.

No it doesnt...i am on parole and am tested twice weekly and am not prescribed and have had no issues on panel tests or lab tests. Dont listen to people who said yes....
