Well, theres always a type of format you must do for raids.
You must mark then Tanks, and Assign the heals to a certain category.
for instance;
Palladin - Main tank
Shaman - Raid
Priest - OT
For each raid there should be a certain amount of healers and tank.
for 10man raids, you should have 3 healers, 2 tanks, and 5 dps.
A MT(Main Tank) and an OT(off tank)
3 Healers, each assigned.
and 5dps, well geared.
The main aspect of the tanks is to get the aggro, so the DPS, the damage dealers can deal the damage...
The Tanks loose health, hence the healers, who will heal them...
The Main tank will agrovate the boss, while the Off tank will agrovate then remaining mobs, also knows as Adds.
It's all pretty simple.
