Exactly how much oil is exported from the Alaskan pipeline?

None of it. When the Trans Alaska Pipeline was constructed it was illegal to ship any of the oil from Alaska to other countries. Then during the Clinton Administration when oil was $8 a barrel, that law was changed. For 2 years Alyeska Pipeline Terminal shipped to Japan and South Korea a total of 5 times. They decided that this was not cost effective and now they no longer ship there. This was years ago. Now all the oil goes to refineries in Washington State, California and Hawaii. It provides most of the fuel in the Northwestern States. None of it leaves the country. I have this information because I live in Valdez, Alaska. Where the end of the Trans Alaska Pipeline is located and the oil is shipped from. I receive my information from locals including family members who work at the Alyeska Pipeline Terminal (some of who are managers).

Who receives oil from the Trans-Alaska Pipeline?

I heard from a source long ago, that a large percentage of the oil goes to Japan.Reason being, much greater profit for the oil company, than sending all the oil to the lower 48 states.I hope I'm wrong, but I rather doubt it when it concerns corporate greed.AnswerGood News! HEDP is an abbreviation for 1-Hydroxy Ethylidene-1,1-Diphosphonic Acid, Etidronic Acid.ATMP is an abbreviation for Amino Tri(Methylene Phosphonic Acid), Nitrilotrimethylphosphonic Acid(NTP)HEDP is used as scale and corrosion inhibition in circulating cool water system, oil field and low-pressure boilers in fields such as electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, fertilizer, etc.. In light woven industry, HEDP is used as detergent for metal and nonmetal. In dyeing industry, HEDP is used as peroxide stabilizer and dye-fixing agent; In non-cyanide electroplating, HEDP is used as chelating agent.ATMP is used in industrial circulating cool water system and oilfield water pipeline in fields of thermal power plant and oil refinery plant. ATMPcan decrease scale formation and inhibit corrosion of metal equipment and pipeline.
