Would Clonidine show up in a urine test?

No clonodine will not show up in a drug test, it is a blood pressure med and it has no narcotics or any other detectable elements in it to affect a drug test. I take it every day for my b.p. and it has never been on any of my urine drops.

Yes, Klonopin, Xanax in either name brand or generic forms of Benzos will show up in your urine on a test. Most people or doctors say for 3-4 days but I would not guarantee it to be totally out of your system or urine for testing, especially if you took high doses. Give it a little longer to be on the safe side. MOST "street drug" tests never check for benzos but others do. If you check the OTC test at a drug store, some will be FOR benzos, others for different drugs.. some for ALL drugs. That part is more your knowledge about what type of screening you will be getting.

If you were prescribed anxiety medicine, you can explain that it's been several days since you last took your dose and IF it shows up at all, that shouldn't be an issue.

I've been drug tested and am perscribed to Clonodine. Never has it showed up as a Benzodiazapine. The drug is classified as an "Antihypertensive." Clonidine is used primarily as an antihypertensive in the treatment of high blood pressure but is also used in the treatment of migraine headaches, depression, menopausal flushing, as a pre-operative sedative in children (unusual), alcohol, opiate and nicotine withdrawal, and a variety of other disorders.

No clonadine does NOT show as a benzo...clonadine is a blood pressure medication...how ever it reacts your benzo receptors and will lower your bp and feel like a benzo...don't think its safe to mix w/other drugs now. YOU CAN DIE OF OVER DOSE esp if mixed w/ methadone, opiates, benzo's or just taking too many alone..
