A bad fuel pressure regulator will cause the car to stall or not run .
NO.
if its a cpi it would be in the the middle of the intake as part of a injector assembly on a 4.3L
Could be a faulty check valve in the fuel pump, a leaky fuel injector poppet or a leaky fuel pressure regulator. My guess would be the fuel pressure regulator.
Stuck fuel injector or busted diaphragm inside the fuel pressure regulator.
Assuming you have the 4.3L engine it would be located under the upper intake manifold. After removing the upper intake manifold you will see the fuel pressure regulator attached to the bank of injector "poppets".
i would check the wires, you might have a short to power which would keep the injectors open all the time.
The 98 Blazer with a 4.3L V6 fuel pressure regulator would be located under the upper intake manifold. It would be attached to the bank of fuel injector poppets aka "the spider". The upper intake manifold would have to be removed to gain access.
Faulty fuel pressure regulator, or injector. Make sure your air cleaner filter is not plugged.
This engine should be CFI (central fuel injection) and the fuel pressure regulator would be under the upper intake manifold, attached to the "spider" (bank of injector poppets). The upper intake manifold needs to be removed to gain access.
It would be found under the upper intake manifold, attached to the bank of injector poppets aka "the spider".
It is located at the end of the fuel rail on the engine. The fuel rail is the tube that connects all your injectors. One end will have a line coming directly from the tank to the rail the other end will have the regulator and then a line back to the tank. The fuel pressure regulator on a 2000 S10 with the 4.3L engine would be located under the upper intake manifold. The upper intake manifold would have to be removed to gain access to it. The regulator would be attached to the bank of injector poppets also known as the "spider".
