Would you recommend taking college algebra and trigonometery at the same time?

Honestly I wouldn't...
College Algebra in itself is difficult. However, you might not think so, but it does come with a heavy workload which would second my opinion too.
Trig is on a whole new level with math. It also has a heavy work load, and it is twice as more difficult as Algebra.
Take your time and choose one, first.. then wait and take the other.

I recommend that you take the Pre-Algebra before taking Algebra I. Taking the Pre-Algebra has a strong potential of helping you understand Algebra I much more easily and much better. A strong background and understanding of Algebra can be the basis for doing very well in later math courses.

College Algebra 1 and 2. I am not a statistician, but my statistics course required a knowledge of probability distributions which required a solid knowledge of integral calculus. I don't see how you could get by with just college algebra.

Pre-algebra is where you just learn the basics of Algebra and Algebra two is way more advanced with new information and taking the concepts you learned in pre-algebra and algebra to the next level.
