There are different types of power supplies for the 360.
A 203w supply that came out first, compatible with all 360s. It has a silver tip.
A 175w released with newer systems with a gray tip.
A 150w released recently as well apparently.
If you are like me, someone took your silver tipped supply and left you a gray tipped one which will not work on older 360 systems. Think of who else had a 360 nearby, and get your supply back or order a new one.
While the Xbox is turned off, plug the power supply into the xbox first. Then plug it into the wall and it should be orange. Turn on the xbox and then the light will change to green.
In the Kinect box, you will find a power supply for the kinect. This is only for the older Xbox 360's, not the Xbox 360 S. So you will need to use the power supply provided to make the Kinect work.
Yes kinect will work on all Xbox 360 consoles from oldest to newest as long as it has a storage device connected
Firstly, the kinect will work on all versions of the Xbox 360, they color does not mean anything. With the Xbox 360 white version, you need to plug the kinect into a power supply, this is because that version of the xbox wont power the kinect.
Yes. However, you cannnot just plug it in with a USB, you will need to use the kinect power supply which is provided.
The av calbe, the one that goes to the tv is exactly the same, the power cable, no. There is a new plug for the new power supply. But the av cable will work just fine. Along with hdmi.
No it has a plug and an power supply
In order to supply power supply to your computer you would need an outlet plug near your computer. Then you can plug your computer into that and necessarily, use an extension.
Turn of your Xbox, your router, and your modem (actually, remove the plug from the wall in the case of the modem). Wait 10 minutes. Plug the modem back in and turn it on. After it's up, turn on your router. After it's up, try powering up your Xbox again and logging back on.
You can plug an AC computer into a DC plug only if you also have an inverter to transform the DC power into the AC power that the computer power supply expects.
