Yeast infection is when there is an overgrowth of yeast, a naturally occurring fungus in the body, typically this will occur in womens vulva's or vagina's but they can occur anywhere and in anyone. There are various natural treatments, but for a yeast infection of the genitals just use an over-the-counter treatment such as a yeast infection cream.

Why do you get sores on your arms from a yeast infection?

The yeast Candidida is the cause of "yeast" infections. It causes localized inflammation of the skin. This is why you get the sores. A good treatment is to use plain yoghurt on the area. Women frequently get yeast infections in the vagina and one of my preferred prescriptions is to have them dip a tampon in plain live yoghurt and insert it into the vagina. More often that not, this provides them with a total cure. Consuming too much vinegar can lead to yeast infections, as can infection with the HIV virus.
