HI i just finished my music degree but now i dont know which field will i quilify to work on,so please advice me.
Not only does it take some musical knowledge BEFORE you graduate from high school, it is necessary to have 4 years of college at an institution that has the courses needed to fullfill the requirements of certification for the state where you want to work. Jobs in this field, however, are not that hard to get, but sometimes in order to get a well-paying job, you must get a Master's Degree!!!
Need? None at all. What you need is to write and become a pest about finding people to play what you set down. Education rarely hurts, but all that is needed is the desire to write and the patience to do it. That said, getting a college education in music, with an emphasis on composition, will greatly ease the way for you if you wish to try and make a career of composing.Having proper musical training, among many other things, saves you from making a lot of mistakes that you must work out later. The time and money spent on a college degree seems like the hard way to do it to a lot of people. It isn't. In the long run, it is the easy way.
