Too Trusting? This is a part of what makes you who you are. Sorry, but you cannot turn off your emotions like a light switch. If you could, then I would be out of a job. lol.
Honestly, You have a gift, yet I suspect you see it as a curse. Nobody can change anything about themselves overnight - since it took you (your age) that many years to emotionally grow, it will take time to overcome that emotion. You will need to start by becoming more rational in your thought process as you make the decision to trust what someone says. It may sound silly, but continue to trust those you know and trust. Those you meet and want to build a relationship with - mentally practice the pros and cons of what they are telling you, and ask questions to verify what they are telling you which builds that trust you so easily give out. Ok, times up - you have a gift. Don't ever be down on yourself for feeling bad about trusting people - it's a trate we are losing in society - just remember and try being rational a little at a time and without noticing it those who win your trust will have deserved it.

how can a person stop being to trusting, well it will be hard I guess. But if someone had experience because the person is too trusting, it will not give him or her a lesson because that person will not change.
