As many times as you want. But you have an oem version after certain times of activations (I believe 3 times) you will need to call Microsoft to allow you reactivating OS again. A product key should only be used on ONE computer. If the product key is being used on more that one computer, it can be changed to another product key without having to reinstall the operating system.

If your talking about the product key, then just go to MY COMPUTER, rt click, click on properties, at the bottom of the page you will see windows activation, to the right it says, Change product key, click on this. A little clue, if you are going to put in an OEM key, you better reinstall and format the drive because the system MIGHT not take the key when it was already activated and then you put in an OEM key, you could get flagged as a pirated copy.
